Following their fourth studio album "Directions" (2018), the manic band The Green Apple Sea (sometimes "Zero", sometimes "Hero" activity) most recently released a strictly limited vinyl split EP called "Less Than Familiar" (July 2020) with their labelmates Wayne Graham from the USA on the Dresden-based label K&F Records, which has been home to the band for a good 10 years. Stefan Prange plays a selection of sensitive indie country songs from over 20 years of band history in reduced arrangements. The accompanying stories, sometimes absurdly funny, sometimes tragically sad, have become a trademark of the stage show of the reclusive Nurembergers. But Stefan Prange insists "everything I sing is true", even if the first line of the single "Dark Kid Ep. 1" is: "Satan is my father, that's how you called him when I was small".
