STEREOSTERNE

"StereoSterne" from Nuremberg, with about 130 active members, are the city’s largest women’s choir—young, modern, and anything but uptight or old-fashioned. Since its founding in the summer of 2025, the ensemble has seen tremendous growth.
The choir is led by Thomas Kaminski, who also directs three other choirs and brings a wealth of experience with large ensembles and big stages. In 2024, he opened the renowned Southside Festival with a choir in tow—an experience that also informs his work with the StereoSterne.

As a pub choir, the StereoSterne don’t just perform on traditional stages with a seated audience. You’ll also find them in beer gardens, pubs, or on the street at spontaneous guerrilla gigs—singing until, if necessary, the police show up.

Musically, the choir focuses on three-part pop arrangements of their own composition. From Journey to Zartmann, they cover it all. Always interactive. Beer instead of sheet music.

The StereoSterne are an energetic choir that’s just getting started—but they’re already quite the clever bunch.
