Lorenz Ambeek's debut album "Look At Me Now" sounds like sounds like the 2010s and Americana, peppered with with relentlessly honest lines and a pinch of cynicism cynicism. "Look at Me Now" is for Lorenz Ambeek a search, not so much for himself, but rather for the the rest of the world - and thus something for all those who are into feelings without autumn depression.
Ambeek wrote it between Amsterdam and Vienna, recorded in just 10 days with the Amadeus-nominated producer Amadeus nominated producer Lukas Klement (Conchita Wurst, Yukno) and Ross Stanciu (among others Avec, Clueso). The songs are characterized by their directness by their unadulterated live sound: Skilful arrangements speak for themselves, from theremin to slide guitar, every instrument finds its place.
