Lena&Linus. Two who were not looking for each other, but found each other. Who make music together. First in their own solo projects, then as a duo. With not much more than a guitar and two voices that sometimes sound almost like one and the same. Decent indie pop about bitter sweet anecdotes and touching moments from their own biographies.Sometimes melancholic, then again euphoric, full of longing and urgency. Music that is close the listener, but also to the two themselves.
"Fühlst du dich allein?", the first EP of the duo from Würzburg, is now released via „Tautorat“ - the joint venture ofFour Music and the producer Tim Tautorat, who has already worked with with Herbert Grönemeyer, Province, Faber, Betterov and AnnenMayKantereit. "Thefirst time I heard the two of them sing, I knew that they absolutely had to make music as a duo," explains Tim Tautorat. "We then started working on their songs together, and it turned into a wonderful collaboration emerged."
The result is titled "Fühlst du allein?",the debut EP from Lena&Linus. Six songs about broken car roofs, sneakers in that one, very specific color, and how it feels when you accidentally send a package to exactly the address it was definitely wasn't supposed to go."Actually, the EP is almost too personal. These are all stories we've experienced and emotions we've felt," Lena&Linus explain. "What unites all the pieces beyond that is this feeling of inner emptiness or our own loneliness and the attempt to tackle exactly that - no matter with what."
