With this mindset, Kii embarks on his musical journey. The 24-year-old rapper and singer from Hof brings a rare blend of talent, ambition, and unbridled drive. Growing up between basketball courts and musical theater stages, Kareem—his real name—discovered music in 2020 as an outlet to give shape to his experiences and emotions.

Kii doesn’t make run-of-the-mill rap. His sound ranges from moody trap soul to introspective R&B and edgy rap moments—or as he puts it: “Kii-Sound.” Songs like “Abstand” or “Studio” showcase his soulful, melodic side, while “Wie es ist” and “Schäm dich” span the spectrum between a confident flow and vulnerable honesty.
