Festival 2025, over a million monthly listeners on Spotify and support shows for Cro or Tokio Hotel on the country's biggest stages speak for themselves: jolle is the artist of the moment. Curiously, the Hamburg native never set out to pursue a career as a successful musician. She stumbled into this world between studio sessions, radio interviews, festival backstage areas and stage lights. Looking back, it's difficult to pinpoint the moment when jolle made the leap from creative spirit – which she always was – to artist. The fact is: jolle's artistic self-discovery was a fluid, impulsive, chaotic (in the most positive sense) and fast-paced process; and one that was overwhelming with stimuli – because jolle is always where the stimuli are. Her cosmos is at the intersection: between pop, indie and rap ballads, ecstatically lived-out feelings of freedom and gruelling emotional confinement, irrepressible life energy and emotional abysses, childlike scribbles and almost philosophical imagery. Jolle is many things, insatiable – and always where the music is playing.
