anaïs

SHOW | FR, OCTOBER 6TH

Due to her Belgian roots, anaïs grew up multilingual and is fluent in German, English andFrench. Nevertheless, sometimes all three languages were not enough to put her feelingsand thoughts into words and so she found a way to express herself through music.

anaïs' warm voice combines an effortless, playful vibe with a deep longing for life andawakens a desire to drive through the streets at night, turn up the music really loud, andsurrender to the melancholy. In her lyrics, the 21-year-old deals with topics that also occupymany other young people: self-acceptance, mental health and relationships.

In the first Lockdown 2020, anaïs began writing her first own songs and with only one singlereleased, she was presented by Diffus magazine as one of three promising newcomers* atthe c/o-Pop Festival. In order to really take off musically, the native Hanoverian moved toBerlin the same year to work on her next releases.

Despite the ongoing pandemic, anaïs gained her first live experience in 2021, supportingGiant Rooks, Provinz, Nina Chuba, Oscar Anton and Benjamin Amaru, among others, as wellas at festivals such as c/o pop festival, Watt en Schlick Festival and Maifeld Derby. With her infectious energy, the newcomer is off to a promising start in the new year and notonly has exciting live shows in store, but also quite a few upcoming releases. Stay tuned!
